The Problem:
Seeking to differentiate themselves in a crowded market, Bbblepop's founders aimed to infuse their product launch with a youthful, vibrant, and playful edge. Enthusiasts of kawaii culture and Sanrio, they envisioned incorporating character mascots within their packaging. Each character would not only symbolize a specific fruity flavor but also become the face of that flavor. Furthermore, they wanted a seamless transition from packaging to a website, ensuring a consistent brand experience.
Our Solution:
Oblique delved deep into co-creating with Bbblepop’s founders, birthing unique mascots that epitomized the brand's playful ethos. Each mascot's color palette was intentionally designed to mirror its corresponding flavor. Strategically, these characters were given significant real estate on the packaging, ensuring instant recognition and differentiation. As Bbblepop sought to establish its foothold in the market, these vibrant mascots became instrumental in heightening brand recall and affinity.
This captivating visual language was extended to the brand’s website. We designed a direct-to-consumer platform that beckons visitors to immerse themselves in Bbblepop’s world and explore its range of flavors. To amplify user engagement, we incorporated an interactive feature allowing users to "taste" the site. With a simple click, visitors can switch between the brand's signature soft pastels, accentuating the playful spirit of Bbblepop and leaving a lasting impression.
